Position Summary
Are you passionate about making a tangible difference in people's lives? As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll be a trusted guide, connecting members with crucial financial assistance for specialty medications. You'll build strong relationships and coordinate with healthcare providers and pharmacies.
Key Responsibilities (5)
- Verify eligibility and complete required documentation for assistance programs.
- Coordinate alternative funding with members and provider offices.
- Manage intake/submission of forms and applications; follow through to resolution.
- Maintain proactive communication with members, providers, pharmacies, and programs.
- Monitor adherence, address issues promptly, and deliver timely, professional support.
Minimum Qualifications (5)
- 1–3 years in customer service or 3+ years in advocacy/support; college degree preferred.
- Excellent written/verbal communication; strong organization and follow-up.
- Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and solve problems in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and general computer use; Salesforce experience a plus.
- Knowledge of specialty pharmaceuticals/insurance; experience with HUB/TPA/specialty pharmacy and/or pharmacy tech background/certification preferred.
