Reporting directly to the Group CFO at VALUE. VALUE (Principal shareholder) of NAVAC Inc, U.S. based company. The VP of Finance is a key member of the global finance leadership team and a strategic partner to the President of NAVAC. This role ensures compliance and risk control across financial, tax, and treasury operations, while driving decision-making, profitability, and strategic goals through financial analysis, budgetary control, and capital management.

Primary Responsibilities, Duties and Functions (Including but not limited to the followings)

  1. Financial Strategy & Analysis

  2. Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term strategic planning aligned with corporate objectives.

  3. Monitor budget execution and analyze variances to provide actionable insights.
  4. Support KPI development and tracking, focusing on distribution metrics such as gross margin, DSO, inventory days, and channel health.
  5. Deliver deep-dive financial analysis including product line profitability, customer/channel contribution, and pricing strategy effectiveness.

  6. Compliance & Risk Management

  7. Ensure financial reporting compliance with IFRS/CAS and U.S. GAAP.

  8. Oversee tax filings and coordinate global tax planning with HQ.
  9. Develop and implement internal control frameworks for key cycles (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Inventory Management).
  10. Conduct internal audits and report control deficiencies or risk events.
  11. Lead transfer pricing policy development and documentation in compliance with OECD and U.S. regulations.

  12. Capital & Treasury Operations

  13. Manage cash flow and optimize working capital, focusing on receivables and inventory.

  14. Evaluate and secure local financing options to optimize capital structure and reduce HQ funding reliance.
  15. Explore investment opportunities for short-term cash surpluses.
  16. Establish banking relationships and oversee treasury operations.

  17. Audit & Reporting

  18. Act as primary liaison for external auditors and lead the annual audit process.

  19. Ensure timely and accurate group reporting and business analysis.
  20. Prepare local transfer pricing documentation and respond to tax authority inquiries.

Qualifications:

Mandatory Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.

· 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership reporting to a corporate CFO.

· Experience in distribution or industrial sectors with strong financial acumen.

· Hands-on experience with transfer pricing and compliance documentation.

· Proven success in securing local financing and managing banking relationships.

· Expert knowledge of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with IFRS.

· Excellent English communication skills; Mandarin proficiency is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience working with Asia-Pacific (especially Chinese) headquarters.

· Familiarity with HVAC/R or adjacent industries.

· ERP system implementation or optimization experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
