Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of food service management, including inventory control, staff training, and kitchen management. The Restaurant Manager will ensure that our establishment runs smoothly while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
  • Train, develop, and supervise staff to maintain a motivated team focused on delivering excellent customer service.
  • Handle cash management and POS systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
  • Implement food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the restaurant.
  • Coordinate shift management to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.
  • Foster a positive dining experience by addressing customer feedback and concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food production and presentation.
  • Conduct interviews for new hires and participate in the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS).
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and develop staff effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Experience in casual dining or fine dining environments is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality management.
  • Ability to manage budgets effectively while ensuring profitability.
  • Excellent communication skills for team management and customer interaction.
  • Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of catering and banquet operations.
