Job Description

As a Security Officer - Auto Lot Driver in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will conduct regular patrols to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a visible presence throughout the area. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will interact with team members and visitors, providing excellent customer service and clear communication, while upholding our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive manufacturing location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the facility.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
