Job Summary

National Pipe & Plastics, one of the largest PVC pipe producers in North America, is currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform basic cleaning tasks, along with inspection and cleaning of heavy machinery and equipment.

Job Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping tasks: sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, emptying garbage cans, etc.Keep work areas clean at all times: pick up all scrap plastic, purge baskets, banding, garbage, etc.Perform intense machinery cleaning: wiping down extrusion lines, degreasing of machinery if needed, changing/cleaning screens or filters, etc.Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

Minimum high school diploma or equivalentAbility to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team membersAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. periodically throughout the day

Compensation
