Internship Details

• Duration: 11 weeks, full-time

• Dates of Internship: June 1, August 14, 2026

• Location: Remote

• Compensation: Paid internship; relocation assistance available for qualified candidates

• Eligibility: Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2026 through June 2028 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply.

About the Team:

The Laboratory Technology – Computer Applications team develops custom LIMS applications designed to support Specialty Genomics workflows.  We manage high-content datasets, including sequencing and array data, ensuring data integrity and traceability.

Internship Assignment Summary:

• Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand the requirements and identify testing needs

• Assist in designing and executing manual and automated test cases

• Document test results and report bugs/defects clearly and accurately.

• Assist with regression and verification testing after software updates

• Help maintain and update test documentation, test plans, and test scripts

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on product quality improvement.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

• Working towards bachelor's degree in Computer Science

• Experience with Java, and ideally TestNG/Selenium

• Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting

• Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues.

• Embraces diverse perspectives through partnerships and teamwork

Pay Range: $17-$20/hr

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
