This means you'll get access to deep domain expertise, investment-grade scientific judgment, and a culture that blends platform design, data science and biotech strategy.Job OverviewWe're looking for aFront-End Product Engineerto take our platform interface to the next level. This is a design-driven engineering role: you'll combine design thinking with hands-on front-end development: imagining how users should interact with networked data, prototyping new layouts, and implementing them in production. You'll collaborate closely with our Head of Engineering to ensure seamless integration with our backend systems.Key Responsibilities·      Translate complex biotech/AI concepts into elegant, usable UI/UX flows·      Design wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual systems for LABI's core platform·      Implement production-ready front-end components (React / / TypeScript)·      Collaborate with backend engineering to integrate APIs and data models·      Iterate quickly based on user feedback and team input·      Maintain a consistent design system and visual language for LABIRequirements· years experience in front-end development (React, , TypeScript)·      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, Engineering, or a related field·      Strong design instincts – proficiency with Figma or similar tools·      Proven ability to translate designs into production-quality code·      Experience collaborating with backend teams and working with APIs·      Portfolio or examples of products that balance usability and clarity·      Bonus:experience with data visualization (graphs, networks, tables, dashboards)·      Bonus:knowledge of biological dataContract Details·      Contract role·      Potential to transition into a full-time position·      NYC Hybrid preferred, open to remote for the right person·      Competitive hourly rate or project-based contract·How to ApplyPlease send yourresume, portfolio, GitHub, and a short note on a project where you owned both the designandbuild of a product interface to: Equal Opportunity StatementLuma Group is an equal opportunity employer.
