Status: Seasonal - part-time or full-time (not a remote work position)

Salary: $21 + $1 per hour end of season bonus + tips



Job Summary: We consider the members of our Transportation Team to be the face of our company. With no physical check-in process for our guests, oftentimes the only person-to-person interactions we have with them is in the shuttle. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with an equally strong background in customer service as well as deep rooted knowledge of Steamboat in order to add personalized value to our guest experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficient accountability with the Driver/Rider App. It's like Uber but better. Confirm your ride, confirm your pick up, confirm your drop off.
  • Always check the names of your Riders.
  • Make sure you're taking the right group.
  • Respond to all guest and owner requests including but not limited to: transportation to ski area and downtown
  • Answer passenger questions and provide local insights to appropriately heighten their Steamboat experience
  • Perform routine cleaning of vehicles
  • Arrive on time daily in order to prepare vehicles for shift ahead
  • Assisting in all duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • The ability to multi-task and communicate well with other employees is a must for this position
  • Proficient use of iPhone technology
  • Proficient use of Google Sheets and ability to quickly learn/adapt to other software applications
  • Dependable, punctual, and organized
  • Clean, professional appearance
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Valid drivers license
  • High School diploma
