We are currently seeking a Portfolio Manager who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and an excellent communicator to oversee the day-to-day operations of mobile home communities within a designated portfolio.

What You'll Do:

As a Portfolio Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring our communities are well-maintained, compliant, and thriving. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support on-site property staff. Guide maintenance priorities, review bids, and ensure operational excellence.
  • Community Oversight: Conduct regular property visits (4x/year per property), oversee upkeep, and maintain strong tenant relationships.
  • Resident Communication: Draft and deliver notices, letters, and other communication to residents regarding community guidelines, complaints, or maintenance issues.
  • Employee Training: Train and mentor on-site staff and assist in onboarding new hires.
  • Client Relations: Provide regular updates and collaborate with property owners on capital improvements and ongoing projects.
  • Project Management: Oversee and track projects from start to finish to ensure completion on time and within budget.
  • Emergency Response: Be available for after-hours calls related to urgent property issues.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in the review and revision of tenancy documents; respond to unresolved tenant concerns.
  • HOA Experience (Preferred): Prior experience with Homeowners Associations is a plus.

What You Bring:

  • Strong background in property or facilities management, customer service, and project coordination.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid California Driver's License (required for property visits; travel expenses covered).
  • California Real Estate License (not required at hire; we'll cover the cost for you to obtain one).
