Marshfield Medical Center – Rice Lake seeks a full-time Hospital Medicine physician that is BC/BE in Internal Medicine to join our Hospital Medicine department. Schedule is 12 hours shifts of both 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am.  The scope of patients on the Hospitalist Service is broad ranging and includes medical consultation for surgical and non-surgical subspecialty patients including Med Surg, ICU and step down units. MMC – Rice Lake is a fully integrated medical campus with a 40-bed, full-service hospital that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient health care in western Wisconsin.

Marshfield Clinic can support a variety of visas, including J1 waivers (location dependent) and H1Bs (cap exempt organization).

With a population of just over 9,000, Rice Lake has many of the offerings of city life, nestled among some of the most beautiful features nature has to offer. The district consists of six elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. Rice Lake is a popular summer resort area as well as a playground for those who enjoy swimming, boating, water-skiing, and fishing. Held each winter just north of Rice Lake is the biggest cross-country skiing event in the nation, the Birkebeiner. Culturally, Rice Lake offers the Red Barn Players Summer Theatre and Art Center, as well as the Northern Star Theatre. In the summer, many residents of Rice Lake enjoy the splash pad, Turtleback golf course, and the Moon Lake Park with soccer fields. Fun Fact: Each summer, enjoy all that the city's 10-day Aquafest festival has to offer, such as national musical acts, carnival rides, food, and family activities.
