Field Superintendent

Job Summary
As a Field Superintendent, you will be the driving force behind our construction projects, ensuring that everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Your leadership will guide teams through the complexities of construction management, while your expertise in scheduling and quality control will keep projects on track and within budget. You will play a pivotal role in fostering a safe and productive work environment, utilizing your knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction site experience to uphold the highest standards.
What you'll do
- Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Manage and supervise field personnel, fostering teamwork and accountability among all team members.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 to track project progress and maintain documentation.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Implement effective project scheduling techniques using Primavera for optimal resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate records of project expenses, estimates, and budgets using HeavyBid.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of project scheduling and budgeting principles.
- Demonstrated supervising experience in a field environment, effectively managing teams to achieve project goals.
Preferred qualifications
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols on construction sites.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading, construction estimating, quality control measures, and the use of an ohmmeter for electrical assessments.
