Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Fairmont, WV. The AutoCAD Drafter will be responsible for creating and preparing detailed technical drawings, including shop and architectural drawings. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with team members, interpreting design specifications, preparing accurate drafts, and revisiting drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards. The role also involves working closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in designs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Technical Drawing and creating Shop Drawings
• Experience with Architectural Drawings and general Drawing tasks
• Familiarity with principles of Architecture and design techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt drawings based on feedback
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Relevant diploma or degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience in electrical contracting or construction is a plus
