Role Overview: As a Business Analytics Manager at DSM, you will be at the forefront of collaborating with our clients to identify and resolve challenging business issues. Your responsibilities will include data analysis, reporting, system design, and project management, making a tangible impact on our clients' success. Successful candidates are adept communicators, quick learners of new technologies and business concepts, and thrive in collaborative team environments.
Responsibilities:
- Data Preparation: Validate, cleanse, and integrate data from diverse sources to support reporting and analysis objectives.
- Reporting: Create and maintain reports for clients in various formats, including web-based dashboards, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Analysis: Perform data analysis to address critical business questions.
- Reporting and Analysis Design: Develop reports, data visualizations, analyses, and decision models to address key business questions. Design measurement frameworks to assess operational performance.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct testing of applications, databases, and reports to ensure data accuracy and proper functionality.
- Systems Analysis and Design: Analyze requirements, define business and technical specifications, and design all system components, including applications, databases, and reporting.
- Workstream Management: Lead and manage one or more workstreams of client projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including end-user management and training.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple project workstreams and lead the fulfillment team in delivering client projects. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Client Management: Understand and address client objectives, develop a long-term success roadmap, and ensure project performance exceeds client expectations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field of study.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferences:
- Experience with relational database management systems (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server).
- Familiarity with data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI).
