What You Can Expect

Paragon 28, a Zimmer Biomet company, is hring a Surgeon Relations Manager. This is an International focused manager responsible for the partnering with the Sales organization on Health Care Professional ("HCP") consultant leads. This involves overall management of HCP consultant relationships, onboarding experience, and ongoing utilization in the context of Paragon28's corporate compliance program. This position will also be overseeing all aspects of the consultant contracting process, for US and International HCPs. This will involve contract creation/delivery process, and continual follow up for the management of contracts.

How You'll Create Impact
  • Owns the relationship between International HCPs and Paragon28 across corporate functions and serves as the main point-of-contact
  • Spearheads the development of surgeon utilization plans for the calendar year and drives accountability to those plans through regular meetings with internal stakeholders, eventually closing the loop with the respective surgeon
  • Executes the ongoing communication plan with consultants and tracks activity in corporate software
  • Communicates regularly with HCPs to identify needs, areas of interest, and development opportunities in partnership with Marketing, Development and Medical Education
  • Acts as a liaison between corporate and the surgeon in identifying needs and pairing with the appropriate solutions(s) and contacts
  • Communicates directly with HCPs, HCPs' office staff, and Paragon28 representatives to avoid and resolve compliance issues and to foster effective communication between Paragon28 and HCPs.
  • ZB MediSpend engagement reviews/approvals: Generation of SRLs / dissemination to HCPs and Engagement Tracking
  • HCP Payment processing: Evidence Gathering (internal), Documentation Gathering (external), CP Payment Summary creation and dissemination
Your Background
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written and influential communication techniques and can handle multiple, challenging communications in a positive manner.
  • Must possess a high degree of professionalism in a potentially frustrating environment with extreme time constraints and demands for immediate responsiveness and correct responses.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated organizational, time management, detail-orientation, problem solving ability skills are essential.
  • Possess the necessary skills to earn trust, build relationships, and bring value to surgeons and staff
  • Knowledge of compliance policies and practices.
  • Proven track record of effective process management and improvement.
  • Ability to tolerate ambiguity, handle multiple priorities, and identify creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Demonstrated history of taking initiative, meeting commitments and creating new tools or solutions to achieve business results.
  • High level of energy, personal accountability and integrity.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, related HR software

Education/Experience Requirements

 Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related field required or commensurate combination of education and experience.

 A minimum of 6+ years Medical Device experience in a related position working with sales and distributor networks, with an emphasis on process improvement required

 Orthopedic sales experience preferred

Travel Expectations

Up to 60% travel

Compensation Data

Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000 USD annually depending on skills and experience
