Position Details:

  • Max Pay Rate: $25.00/hour W-2.
  • Role is 100% Onsite at 4101 Percival Road; Columbia, SC 29229.
  • Contract - However, there is the possibility to be considered for FTE in the future.
  • Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
  • On the job training.
  • Nice to Have Skills: Microsoft office skills (Advanced MS Excel skills).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Great communication and analytical skills.
  • We are looking for someone recently out of school.

Duties:

  • Responsible for conducting and assisting in documenting simple to moderate financial analysis projects following standard practices and procedures.
  • Participates in studies to improve the operational and financial effectiveness of the unit. Extracts financial data from various accounting and information systems.
  • Performs financial and cost accounting analysis of data.
  • 30% Performs financial or business analyses and research in such areas as financial and expense reporting, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investments and accounts receivable.
  • 10% Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analyses.
  • 15% Utilizing computer systems and software, compiles and prepares reports, graphs, and charts of data developed. Serves as a systems administrator.
  • 15% Assists in the development of business policies, conducts special financial and business-related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses.
    •10% Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • 10% Interprets financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions.
  • 5% Applies a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; verifies documents for completeness and compliance with government and private agencies.
  • 5% Trains new hires and other department associates on how to use reports and/or systems.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • 1+ years of related work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance/financial management, Accounting, Economics, or other job-related degree.
  • Applies laws and regulations.
  • Builds financial models.
  • Interprets financial transactions.
  • Performs financial analysis.
  • Prepares financial statements.
  • Recommends improvements.
  • Research financial projects.

Pay Rate & Benefits:

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is
$19.70/hour - $25.00/hour W-2.

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K (provided minimum eligibility hours are met).

QUALIFICATION/ LICENSURE :

Work Authorization : Green Card, US Citizen, Other valid work visa

Preferred years of experience : 1+ Years

Travel Required : No travel required
