Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Duties

  • Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients for cooking.
  • Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are clean and ready for service.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth workflow during busy service times.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
  • Assist with bussing tables when necessary to maintain a clean dining environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus.
  • Experience in banquet service or catering is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
