Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction and industrial sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both industrial and commercial electrical work, with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, technical expertise, and adherence to safety protocols.

Duties

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in compliance with NEC standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical projects.
  • Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and power tools to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
  • Work with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems safely and effectively.
  • Test electrical circuits using instruments like ohmmeters and ammeters to diagnose issues.
  • Follow construction plans and frame carpentry instructions when necessary for electrical installations.
  • Ensure all work meets safety regulations and building codes while maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Collaborate with construction teams on-site to coordinate electrical tasks within project timelines.

Skills

  • Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, ammeters, and other testing instruments.
  • Knowledge of NEC standards, low voltage systems, high voltage systems, and safety protocols.
  • Experience working on construction sites with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
  • Ability to interpret schematics accurately and implement detailed electrical plans.
  • Familiarity with frame carpentry is a plus for certain installation tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous learning within the electrical trade.

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
