POSITION SUMMARY

The Dialed Moods Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for developing, refining, and overseeing the company's sales operations infrastructure beginning with California and scaling those systems nationwide. This role focuses on building scalable processes and systems to support expansion into gyms, supplement shops, convenience chains, liquor stores, lifestyle retailers, and distributors.

The Sales Operations Manager will establish and manage a high performing team of sales representatives, implement effective operational workflows, and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure consistency and execution across all channels. Working closely with the CEO, National Sales Director, and Marketing Director, this position translates brand vision into operational excellence by optimizing territory management, strengthening account support systems, and ensuring smooth, data informed execution across the functional wellness and supplement market.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Operations Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement a scalable California sales operations framework that can be expanded nationwide.
  • Build processes to support and sustain B2B relationships with all Dialed Moods customer categories.
  • Establish and maintain operational KPIs, performance standards, and reporting mechanisms to ensure consistent execution across the region.
Team Infrastructure & Leadership
  • Recruit, onboard, and support a team of sales representatives and field marketers with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Create training materials, SOPs, and development programs to maintain consistent workflows and field execution.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance management to ensure adherence to systems, tools, and territory processes.
Account Support & Relationship Management
  • Maintain strong operational relationships with gyms, retailers, distributors, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth account onboarding and service.
  • Oversee operational setup for new accounts, including placement processes, documentation, ordering systems, and execution standards.
  • Support account expansion through consistent service, communication, and operational follow-through.
Sales Systems, Processes & Tools
  • Review current materials and optimize pitch materials, sales scripts, onboarding documents, and account management workflows.
  • Oversee CRM utilization, data hygiene, territory mapping, route optimization, and pipeline structure.
  • Manage operational reporting, forecast accuracy, and field execution metrics.
  • Monitor the sales team's operational budget and P&L inputs, adjusting workflows and resource allocation as needed.
Cross-Functional Operations Collaboration
  • Work closely with the CEO, National Sales Director, and Marketing Director to align sales operations with company priorities and brand strategy.
  • Partner with compliance teams to ensure all sales processes meet ingredient, labeling, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute merchandising programs, POP displays, sampling activations, and local event operations.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Experience:

  • 5–7+ years of B2B sales operations leadership experience within CPG, supplements, beverage, or wellness industries.
  • Demonstrated success driving multi-million-dollar revenue growth through operational development.
  • Proven experience building operational systems and leading revenue growth within sales teams.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Operationally minded leader with strong relationship-building skills to support scalable account growth.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional coordination abilities.
  • Skilled in process design, workflow optimization, and implementation of tools that enhance sales efficiency and performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to turn data into actionable operational improvements.
  • Able to balance high-level strategy with hands-on field execution to ensure consistent sales operations and support revenue growth.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and excels at building structure, systems, and clarity within growing teams.
