Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery/Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves both warehouse operations and delivery tasks, ensuring that products are handled efficiently and delivered to customers in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate various types of equipment.

Duties

  • Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling of products.
  • Operate box trucks and other vehicles for route driving, delivering products to designated locations.
  • Utilize forklifts and pallet jacks for moving heavy items within the warehouse.
  • Maintain an organized warehouse environment, ensuring that all products are stored correctly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred, including familiarity with loading/unloading procedures.
  • Experience in commercial driving, particularly with box trucks or similar vehicles.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
  • Proficient in operating forklifts and pallet jacks; certification is a plus.
  • Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles as required by the job duties.
  • Experience as a courier or delivery driver is advantageous.
