Security Manager

We are searching for a seasoned Security Manager to spearhead the security operations of our upscale active senior living community. This critical role requires a leader with a proven track record in mentoring, training, and leading security teams, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, guests, and employees. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in security management, demonstrate a proactive approach to risk mitigation, and foster a collaborative, 'one team' environment within the community. Their commitment to upholding the highest security standards will create a safe and welcoming living and working space for all.

How you will make an impact

• Assume overall responsibility for the safety, security, and well-being of the community
• Conduct safety inspections, testing, and audits in support of Life Safety and OSHA compliance
• Identify safety/security risks and responds accordingly
• Mentoring, training, and leading the security team
• Conduct investigations, documents and preserves evidence as required
• Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with established policies and applicable laws
• Responds to incidents and emergencies of significance and serves as the incident commander until relieved by a higher authority
• Serve as the liaison officer to external first responders

What you will need

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public safety leadership (Fire/EMS/Law Enforcement), Emergency Management, or comparable leadership experience
• Current and valid driver's license
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in an Emergency Responder role
• Emergency Medical Responder Certification (within 6 months of hire)
• Professional Security Certification such as CPP, PSP, or CHPA (preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification
• OSHA 10-Hour certification within 6 months of hire
