AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. What you will do: You will be on designing and implementing large-scale software services for hardware qualification, encompassing CPU health scanning, performance benchmarking, and thermal/power validation. As a full stack software developer on our team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating software across multiple platforms. You will have complete ownership of code from design through development, specifically working with CPU and Memory components utilized throughout AWS servers. You'll work closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS to improve security, performance, quality, and cost. You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you'll need to deliver high-quality software on tight schedules. Your work will directly impact the reliability and performance of millions of servers powering AWS services worldwide. - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
