As a Hotel Front Desk Clerk, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. Your role is vital in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that reflects our commitment to hospitality. You will manage front desk operations, assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, and handle inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.

What you'll do

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist with the check-in process
  • Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction through effective problem-solving
  • Conduct night audits to ensure accuracy in billing and financial reporting at the end of each day
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area while managing multi-line phone systems efficiently
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for arrivals
  • Foster positive guest relations by being attentive to their needs throughout their stay

Basic qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality management
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus
  • Experience in front desk operations or hotel experience preferred

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with night audit procedures and hotel management systems
  • Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems
  • Previous experience in guest services or resort environments
