The MEA Drug Testing Clinic in Tupelo is seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our clients and visitors while managing the front desk operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a customer-focused attitude. This position requires proficiency in various office management tasks and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. There is also light travel required, with possible overnight travel at times.

Duties

  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking messages as needed.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for easy access to documents.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all compliance procedures.
  • Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Handle clerical duties including typing, proofreading, and preparing documents.
  • Support office management functions, ensuring the front desk area is tidy and welcoming.
  • Verify identification and ensure all required paperwork is completed correctly.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with office management practices and administrative support functions.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time
