Systems Analyst — SAP PM/SM & PS (EAM)

Position Summary

The Systems Analyst is responsible for evaluating and improving IT systems to meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency. This role supports the SAP PM/SM and PS modules, providing technical expertise for projects, system enhancements, and production support. The position requires close collaboration with SAP ABAP and configuration teams, including SAP-CCS, SAP-MM, SAP-FI, and SAP-BW.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Perform hands-on functional configuration and design within SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), including PM/SM and PS modules.
  • Lead full life-cycle SAP EAM implementations, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, data migration, go-live, training, and post-implementation support.
  • Assess current-state processes, identify business requirements, and define future-state EAM/Plant Maintenance solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed system design documents and implement in SAP.
  • Capture business capability and functional requirements; develop EAM solutions aligned to long-term business-IT roadmaps.
  • Partner with business unit leadership and the EAM architect to identify opportunities for emerging technologies that support business strategies.
  • Serve as an advisor on the impact of new technologies on existing environments.
  • Ensure business and functional requirements are maintained throughout the configuration and development lifecycle.
  • Act as liaison between business stakeholders, vendors, project management, and technical teams.
  • Support risk management, planning, budgeting, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Lead complex fit/gap analyses and validate design decisions, ensuring deviations from standard functionality are justified and value-add.
  • Provide consulting support for both new implementations and ongoing production environments.
  • Deliver ad-hoc training and end-user support as needed.
  • Work independently and serve as a subject-matter mentor to junior team members.

Required Experience & Background

  • 10+ years of experience designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting enterprise asset management systems.
  • Experience in at least
    two full-cycle SAP implementations
    (greenfield and/or brownfield).
  • Experience integrating acquisitions/mergers into existing SAP platforms.
  • Strong understanding of modern technology implementation patterns.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with
    SAP S/4HANA EAM
    .
  • Agile / Scrum
    project experience.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of
    10 years of professional experience
