Summary of Position:

Assist ACM Lifting Lives (ACM LL) team with the planning and delivery on a number of ACM Lifting Lives ventures, including, but not limited to, supporting the keynote ACM Lifting Lives Fundraising Event during ACM Awards week, the ACM Awards Show and other ACM Lifting Lives events, fundraising efforts, and administrative duties in Nashville and on-site for Awards week in TBA location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

ACM Lifting Lives Keynote Fundraising Event

  • As a primary focus for ACM Lifting Lives during the spring, much of this internship will focus on supporting our largest annual fundraiser. The past few years, this has been the ACM Lifting Lives Topgolf Tee-Off and Rock On, which is a golf tournament and concert experience hosted at Topgolf.

o Support planning process, contribute to event logistics, work closely with partners, and help with event execution providing on-site support

o Assist with event ticketing including outreach, ticket languages, sales reports, and guest list management

o Help with guest check-in during the day of the event

o Manage volunteer outreach and communication for event

o Brainstorm talent utilization for events, research emerging artists from label lists and provide recommendations

o Create, print, and place ACM LL collateral for event; gather remaining collateral at close of event

o Help prepare the run of show and script for the event

o Prepare communications for attendees, partners, and VIPS; including post-event follow up and thank yous

o Compile feedback notes and create action items for next year

Awards Week in TBA Location

  • General Tasks

o Become familiar with members of ACM LL Board and provide support to them as directed by supervisor. Study Board Member flash cards for both ACM and LL Boards before arrival in onsite.

o Create and maintain master event folders for ACM LL team (schedule, maps, contact lists, info, etc.)

o Create and maintain all paperwork for guitar signings; oversee the setup and signings

  • ACM Awards Show

o Coordinate with ACM Lifting Lives guests to ensure they have details, tickets/wristbands, and questions answered prior to the event(s)

o Assist ACM LL team with ancillary duties as needed

o Escort VIP guests and donors at the Awards show and ancillary events

o Assist other teams in show responsibilities as directed

Other Tasks

  • Conduct research as needed on current statistics, artist schedules, potential partnerships, artist charity work, etc.

  • Regularly review the ACM LL website and Instagram and provide suggested updates; Collaborate with digital and social teams as directed to institute approved changes

  • Brainstorm future fundraising opportunities for ACM LL; Create drafted project plans

  • Support ACM LL team with inventory and any auction needs

  • Support ACM LL team with quarterly Board meetings as needed; May include assisting with PowerPoints, handouts, room set-up, etc.

  • Office duties as assigned

Job Type: Internship

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour
