Confidential search for Machine Operators to support wire/cable extrusion and related manufacturing for aerospace/defense applications. You'll set up and run production equipment, perform in-process checks, and keep accurate records to meet quality, safety, and throughput targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up machines (calibration/cleaning) and start production cycles

  • Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, temps) and feed raw materials

  • Inspect parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers); perform periodic test runs

  • Troubleshoot minor issues, make routine adjustments, and escalate when needed

  • Verify output quality; log good/defective units and maintain activity records

  • Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE; maintain a clean, organized work area

Qualifications

  • 1+ year machine operation experience in manufacturing 

  • Working knowledge of high-speed production machinery & measurement tools

  • Ability to read/understand work instructions in English (for safety and quality documentation)

  • Strong attention to detail, teamwork, communication, and reliable attendance

  • Physical ability to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift

  • Required: VantageClear Certification (or equivalent recognized defense/compliance credential)
