About The Role:

We are looking for a Financial Systems Directorfor CBRE Investment Accounting & Reporting Solutions, an exciting and growing environment. This contributor will provide oversight and management of the FA/FA global platform team, who develop and support software solutions used by Fund Accounting and Fund Administration Services teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and execute a comprehensive digital product strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of digital solutions, with a significant emphasis on financial systems.
  • Translate organizational objectives and strategic goals into a compelling product vision, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, providing subject matter expertise and guidance to product teams and partners.
  • Prioritize product initiatives, features, and enhancements based on business value, technical feasibility, and user needs.
  • Lead the development and implementation of automated financial processes and reporting solutions, integrating with various enterprise systems nationally and globally.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to streamline and automate operations and enterprise workflows.
  • Ensure financial systems meet global compliance standards and support audit and operational decision-making.
  • Lead cross-functional strategy for key upgrades, migrations, and solution design.
  • Communicate product roadmaps, progress, and impact to executive leadership and key stakeholders
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of product owners, technical leads and analysts.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the product team
  • Provide guidance and support for the entire product lifecycle management, from definition and design to development, testing, and launch.
  • Supervise appropriate staffing levels and report on utilization and deployment of resources.

  • Extensive, expert-level practical experience working with Yardi software is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, MIS or related field and 10+ years of experience in financial systems management is required.
  • 5+ years of prior supervisory or management experience is required.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green, Orange or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Project management training and/or certification preferred.
  • Ability to empower employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
  • Expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment.
  • Sophisticated knowledge of computer software, hardware and systems integration.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the finance systems director position is $160,000 annually and the maximum salary for the finance systems director position is $180,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
