Overview

We are actively seeking a Physical Therapy Clinical Manager with a strong background in home health care to lead and oversee our rehabilitation team. Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of PT, PTA, OT, and COTA staff in a home health setting
  • Manage staff selection, assignment, and scheduling with a focus on equitable employment practices
  • Oversee the development, evaluation, and modification of patient treatment plans using evidence-based clinical guidelines
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing support and feedback to clinical team members
  • Develop and enforce departmental policies and standards for quality care delivery
  • Identify training needs and implement staff development initiatives
  • Ensure accurate EMR documentation and generate reports and correspondence as required
  • Lead strategic planning for clinical programs and ensure services align with patient care goals
  • Serve as a consultative resource to home health clinical staff
  • Stay current with advancements in therapy and nursing care practices

Qualifications:

  • Clinical protocol development and implementation
  • Supervisory experience with multidisciplinary teams (PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, RNs, LPNs)
  • Experience with IV therapy and wound care in acute settings
  • Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Kinnser

Certifications:

  • Current BLS and/or ACLS certification
  • Current TB/PPD test results (at hire and every 2 years)
