Agape Music Academy is partnering with a highly qualified, self-driven Guitar Instructor to serve our diverse client base within our Cedar Park, TX studio facility. This contract role is ideal for an experienced professional who is looking to streamline their teaching practice by focusing exclusively on instruction, supported by our robust administrative framework.

Compensation & Logistics

  • Contract Rate: We offer a competitive service fee negotiable based on your experience and agreed-upon client capacity, ranging from $10.00 to $30.00 per hour.
  • Contract Status: Independent Contractor
  • Schedule: Project-based contract with opportunities for long-term renewal.
  • Instruction Site: All services must be provided in-person at the designated Cedar Park, TX 78613 studio location.
  • Additional Benefits: Contractors are eligible for volume-based bonuses and referral incentives. Note: This is a contract role; standard employee benefits (e.g., paid time off, health insurance) are not provided.

Core Service Requirements (Client Deliverables)

The selected Contractor will be responsible for providing the following services to ensure exceptional client satisfaction:

  • Instructional Excellence: Develop and deliver personalized, engaging lesson plans for students across all proficiencies, from foundational beginner skills to advanced repertoire. The instructor retains the freedom to select the best methodology and materials to meet individual student goals.
  • Client Reporting and Communication: Proactively manage student development tracking, performance assessments, and all professional communication with parents/clients exclusively through the Academy's dedicated portal. This guarantees timely and clear progress feedback.
  • Mandatory Performance Organization: Orchestrate and host required student recitals and performance showcases four times annually. This involves comprehensive management of all musical programming and logistical elements for the event.

Essential Contractor Profile

  • Expert Credentials: Possess a validated track record of successfully teaching piano to a wide range of students, including children and adults. Applications from talented new educators eager to commit to professional development are also welcome.
  • Operational Independence: Must demonstrate the ability to autonomously manage all aspects of lesson preparation, scheduling coordination, and administrative functions related to instruction.
  • High Professionalism: Commit to maintaining exceptional organizational standards and utilizing professional communication with both clients and Academy staff via the digital portal.
  • Teaching Resources: Must supply and utilize their own professional-grade instrument, music library, and necessary teaching aids. The Academy offers certain supportive equipment and resources as available.
  • Extras: Ability to also teach piano is a big plus.
