About The Role
Our Arden Hills team is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to oversee resources and activities, ensuring Divisional, Site, and Value Stream objectives are met. This manager will guide Manufacturing Engineers in technical strategy, designing tools, controls, equipment, and processes for manufacturing operations, while focusing significantly on team development, performance management, and organizational leadership.
This role follows an onsite work model. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Serves as the manufacturing engineering lead for one or more of the Arden Hills manufacturing value streams or functional teams.
- Provides direction and guidance to engineering staff who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.
- Aligns resources and identifies opportunities for improvement within the existing processes and systems.
- Builds strong relationships and collaborates with cross-functional teams including Quality, R&D, Supplier Engineering, and Process Development functions.
- Ensures that inputs from all customers are understood, plans are appropriately developed, and drives accountability and execution to plans.
- Utilizes excellent communication skills, demonstrating leadership communicating both up and down the organization including change leadership.
- Influences, guides, and manages internal/external resources to achieve program goals.
- Promotes an entrepreneurial culture and provides significant guidance and input regarding technical strategies and approaches.
- Recruits, coaches, and develops organizational talent.
- Keeps the organization's vision and values at the forefront of decision making and action.
- Develops and executes organizational and operational policies that affect one or more groups by utilizing technical/professional knowledge and skills.
- Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations, etc.).
- Develops, monitors, and appropriately adjusts the annual budget for one or more functional areas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- 5+ years of related work experience
- 2 + years of supervisory / management experience
- Demonstrated track record of project management execution
- Experience with manufacturing process improvement, critical thinking and lean production tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in engineering or business
- Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing
- Ability to communicate at various levels of the organization

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see —will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
