Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher Assistant Director, Teacher, and . Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role involves overseeing classroom activities, supporting curriculum development, and fostering a nurturing environment for children. Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing age-appropriate curricula tailored to various developmental stages
  • Support classroom management and behavior management strategies to promote positive learning environments
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods
  • Engage with children to support their social, emotional, and cognitive development through hands-on activities
  • Participate in early intervention programs and adapt teaching strategies for children with special needs or requiring additional support
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, including standardized testing results and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Foster communication with parents and guardians regarding child welfare, progress, and classroom activities
  • Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and promote a safe, inclusive environment for all children
  • Support teacher training initiatives and contribute to curriculum development efforts
  • Assist in classroom setup, lesson planning, and maintaining an organized learning space

Skills

  • Extensive experience working with children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and practices
  • Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
  • Experience with special education, early intervention, literacy education, and Montessori methods preferred
  • Ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, parents, and community partners
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring strategies in early childhood settings
  • Knowledge of child welfare standards and best practices in daycare or private school environments
  • Ability to adapt teaching approaches for diverse learners including those requiring additional support or specialized instruction
  • Experience working with physical education programs and integrating movement into daily routines
