AIS, LLC in Berlin is a leading manufacturer of automated industrial stainless-steel washers, ovens, conveyors and automatic painting systems across North America. We are seeking a full or part-time stainless-steel MIG welder/fabricator and have multiple openings to fill. We are looking for a candidate who is hard working, dependable, experienced, punctual, and takes pride in their work. Applicants must be proficient in MIG welding, use of general tools, and medium-duty assembly work. This is an ideal position for the welder who doesn't like to stand in one place all day doing repetitive work.

Basic Job Functions:

· MIG weld stainless steel / steel with good aesthetics and no leaks for water-tight compartments

· Fabricate and assemble structures and custom components

· Must be able to accurately measure using tape measure and other associated measuring devices.

· Read and comprehend blueprints / schematics and prepare the material to build and execute · · Must be able to think and create on your own as we build custom-fabricated components.

· Able to take and follow directives, while also being able to self-motivate and work on one's own.

· Be able to set up, operate and maintain welders, plasma cutters, grinders and tools provided.

· The ability to work in and climb in and out of tanks and some aerial work above 10' high is required · Ability to lift above 50lbs

· Commitment to quality and safety excellence a must.

· Hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications.

· Follow company policy and standards, along with safety procedures.

· Keep shop clean and orderly.

· Must be able to pass a drug test.

Education/Experience:

· High school diploma or GED

· Completion of AIS welding test

· Welding degree/certifications form technical college is not required, but a plus

· Previous MIG welding with Stainless Steel experience is required

Salary: $19.00 to $25.00 / hour, based on experience.
