Responsibilities:

  • Operate a rear-load vehicle to safely collect municipal refuse from residential and commercial customers along designated routes
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of your truck and work areas
  • Deliver courteous and efficient service while interacting with the public
  • Direct the truck driver with backups and navigating tight spaces
  • Assist with minor vehicle maintenance as needed
  • Participate in training programs to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Driver's license preferred
  • A motor vehicle record (MVR) that has no violations, accidents, or convictions for at least the past five years
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 25 years of age and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to repeatedly bend, twist, lift, throw, push, pull and exert physical effort in handling objects more than 75 lbs
  • Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Capable motor coordination; arm, hand, legs.
  • Commitment to safety, customer service, and teamwork
