We are currently seeking a Consumer & Small Business Credit Risk Analyst to join our team.  This is a full time in office role located in Salt Lake City, UT at Zions Bancorporation Headquarters.

We want to talk to you

· Responsible for minimizing credit and operating losses and other risk exposures.

· Responsible for performing complex credit risk analysis to maximize profits and asset growth.

· Provides analytical support segmenting and monitoring credit, concentration limits, etc..

· Makes strategic recommendations to senior management based on analytical insights.

· May develop complex programming models to extract and manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial modeling.

· Develop and maintain reports.

· Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

· Requires a Bachelor's in statistics, mathematics, economics, or related field

· to 2 years statistical programming experience, preferably in SAS and/or SQL

· years with databases, risk analysis, statistical modeling and general lending or other directly related experience

· years reporting experience preferably with a financial service institution

· Ability to summarize data and statistical results to all levels of management a plus

· A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications

· Employs advanced knowledge as a generalist or specialist of risk assessment, spreadsheets, databases, statistical software and pc's

· Must have strong analytical ability, customer service, and communication, both verbal and written

· A team player with experience working in a team environment and strong ability to manage relationships with other departments and vendors
