Functional Lead – Retail Supply Chain Transformation (o9 / Anaplan)

Location: New York City (Hybrid, 2–3 days per week in office)

HD-Tech are partnering with a leading global consultancy to identify an experienced Functional Lead with deep expertise in retail supply chain transformation. This role is ideal for a strategic consulting professional with hands-on experience in demand planning, S&OP, and assortment planning who can drive client engagements and shape delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead functional design and transformation initiatives across retail supply chain domains.
  • Support business development activities, including participation in the sales cycle and client presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of o9 or Anaplan-based solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to retail clients, guiding them through business process optimization and digital transformation.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in management consulting, ideally within the retail or consumer goods sector.
  • Proven experience with o9 Solutions (Anaplan exposure preferred but not essential).
  • Expertise in demand planning, S&OP, and assortment planning processes.
  • Experience leading or contributing to vendor selection and evaluation initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to New York City for a hybrid work model (2–3 days in office).
