Pipefitter / Machine Builder

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Love to get their hands dirty, be known as a "gearhead",
  • Be able to prioritize and complete tasks to meet assigned deadlines,
  • Be a self-starter, able to complete tasks using their knowledge and skill,
  • Work as part of a team with other assemblers, electricians and engineers to meet build requirements

THE PIPEFITTER / MACHINE BUILDER WILL:

  • Review hydraulic and pneumatic blueprints for assemblies.
  • Be responsible for the layout and installation of all hydraulic and pneumatic components
  • Mount valves, regulators, flow controls and all devices needed per print
  • Own any fabrication work or welding needed for job completion
  • Install all lubrication systems
  • Manufacture, fit and assemble a variety of machines, assemblies, and sub-assemblies per specifications and tolerances determined by engineering drawings.
  • Break down machines for shipping

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma
  • 3-5 years assembling industrial machinery
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Own tools needed for assembly
  • Welding experience
  • Hilo experience.
