Overview

At St. Luke's, our dedicated team of Patient Access Specialists strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences. Switchboard is the center hub of our organization. This unique team handles a variety of calls for patients and employees. They transfer callers to various departments or clinics throughout our health system and play a crucial role in facilitating their experiences.

Shift Details:

  • Tuesday and Wednesday 5pm-9pm, Saturday 6:30am-3pm

What You Can Expect:

  • Deliver customer service by handling registration, scheduling, referrals, and inquiries for patients, providers, and the public.
  • Ensure clear, professional communication, addressing both verbal and written interactions.
  • Explain financial options, insurance coverage, and organization policies to support payment processes.
  • Utilize technology and tools to efficiently manage departmental workflows.
  • Support after-hours scheduling and urgent inquiries for Treasure Valley Switchboard, Language Services, and Children's Services.
  • The training period will consist of a full-time, day-time schedule until it is completed and then the schedule will change to Tuesday-Thursday, 11pm-7:30am.
