Gigamon has served more than 4,000 customers worldwide, including over 80 percent of Fortune 100 enterprises, 9 of the 10 largest mobile network providers, and hundreds of governments and educational organizations.    Gigamon is looking for a driven, motivated Hardware Engineering Program Manager to help lead all the hardware development/delivery programs. The Hardware Manager will manage large programs of global scope, impact, and complexity through all lifecycle phases. This role manages interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders and holds decision-making authority at the program level. The Hardware Program Manager handles cross-organizational programs of broad scope and high complexity or broad scope and moderate complexity, usually managing a core team that manages functionally specific teams.      What you'll do:  

  • Must have strong knowledge of the end the end hardware process related to New Product Introductions (EVT, DVT, PVT)
  • Comfortable working with custom Hardware / PCB, FPGA verification, chassis qualification, EMI certification.
  • Possess hands on experience in a hardware lab setting, troubleshooting along with the Engineers and be able to drive conversations based on the observations.
  • Possess experience in bringing up a PCB board during their career.
  • Drive schedule, achievement alignment, equipment needs, and logistics for Board/Systems bring-up activities to achieve smooth execution of ambitious NPI schedules
  • Play a pivotal role in orchestrating and streamlining Hardware Engineering development and execution
  • Guide cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers to meet design and schedule goals and serve as the liaison between multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Act as the primary liaison between HW engineering to other Engineering teams, fostering effective communication and problem-solving thinking
  • Serve as the pivotal function between HW engineering to other departments such as Program management, Product management, Supply chain and ProdOps
  • Partner with and track external hardware vendors and license renewals 
Who you are:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other relevant technical fields or experience in Program or Engineering Management
  • Expert in Program Management concepts and methodology
  • Knowledge of both HW and SW development concepts and expertise in HW program execution
  • Experience in working in a large organization and meeting challenging program
  • A track record of successful delivery of complex programs within the networking/security industry
  • Experience working successfully with multiple key external JDM/OEM partners, contract manufacturers, and critical component/solution providers will be a big plus
   The base salary compensation range targeted for this role based out of Gigamon's Santa Clara, CA, Headquarters office is $136,000 - $170,000, with an opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission (subject to terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company's compensation practices.      #LI-Hybrid
