Position Overview:

As General Superintendent, you will oversee all field operations for water/wastewater construction projects across the DFW area. You'll be responsible for managing site crews, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, and driving project schedules to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct daily field operations, including workforce management, equipment coordination, and subcontractor oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to align field execution with budget and schedule goals.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
  • Resolve field issues and proactively manage risks.
  • Maintain accurate field documentation and reports.
  • Mentor and develop field staff and foremen.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in water/wastewater construction, with at least 3 years in a superintendent or field leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, and underground utilities.
  • Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with construction safety standards and QA/QC procedures.
  • Proficiency in field reporting tools; basic knowledge of scheduling software is a plus.
  • Experience with CMAR, CSP, or other alternative delivery methods is preferred.
  • Dallas-area experience or familiarity with local agency requirements is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160, $200,000.00 per year
