Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and assembling ingredients for various dishes.
  • Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support the front-of-house staff by bussing tables and assisting with service as needed.
  • Participate in catering events and banquets, ensuring timely and efficient meal service.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices is a plus.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service to guests.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
