Job Summary
The Sr. Quality Inspection Technician performs basic audit, inspection, test, and measurement duties on standard products and processes to ensure conformance to requirements.
Essential Functions
- Performs basic visual and mechanical inspection of product and components per documented procedures; specification; drawings; or generally accepted good manufacturing practices, using measuring equipment (i.e., caliper, micrometer, ruler, measuring scope, and laser micrometer, Vision System)
- Responsible for controlling, monitoring, and quarantining of non-conformant products and materials
- Understands the requirements of the Quality System such as: best documentation practices, quality standards, and basic ISO requirements
- Acquires or provides training as needed
- Responsible for receiving inspections and in-process inspections
- Support company finance, accounting, human resources, quality, regulatory, and clinical departments as necessary to ensure compliance with requirements
Requirements
Education, Experience, Required Skills
- 5-7 years of quality experience preferred with basic blueprint reading and basic understanding of GD&T principals
- Reliable, motivated self-starter with an aptitude for development
- Working knowledge of inspection techniques and instruments, quality control terminology and competency in the use of ISO 13485 Standard
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word & Excel
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Flexible and able to handle multiple projects in an organized, timely manner
- Ability to problem-solve, work under pressure, and to effectively manage stress
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend and stoop numerous times throughout the day.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
- Must have manual dexterity.
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Must wear gown, gloves, and ear protection if applicable.

Compensation
- The typical base pay range for this role is between $ /hour. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience.
- This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
