This Job Fair will be held in Galloway (EHC) on Thursday, October 16th, 2025, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Walk-Ins are welcome

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Monitors to join our team in Galloway. To provide professional care and support to our clients in a group home setting for male adults in recovery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safety and well-being of all male clients in a structured environment. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage crises effectively, and a commitment to supporting individuals in their personal growth and development. Seeking candidates who are committed to maintaining the highest standards of care while ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

The full-time monitor positions are from 3:30 pm - 12:00 am. One additional part-time monitor position available on the weekends Saturday & Sundays from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. MUST have a valid driver license and a high school diploma/GED.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Duties but not limited to

  • Supervise individuals in a variety of settings, ensuring their safety and adherence to established guidelines.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies as needed to de-escalate situations effectively.
  • Provide support and assistance to individuals requiring addiction counseling.
  • Maintain security protocols to protect clients and staff within the facility.
  • Assist individuals struggling with addiction through counseling and support services.
  • Manage conflicts among clients using effective conflict management techniques.
  • Transport residents to work, shopping, activities, AA/NA meetings/events, and other appointments (as needed).
  • Document mileage, complete vehicle log in a timely manner; ensure vehicle has fuel.
  • Maintain accurate records through data entry, filing/scanning, and data collection processes.
  • Supervise medication as required while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Conduct hourly safety room checks/document.
  • Monitor and ensure chores are completed daily.

Skills

  • First aid and CPR certification is a plus but not necessary.
  • Experience in addiction counseling or behavioral health services highly desirable.
  • Experience in group home settings or long-term care facilities is desirable.
  • Strong patient observation skills with the ability to monitor changes in behavior or health conditions effectively.
  • Strong experience with medication observation and documentation (MARS).
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with residents, families, staff, and healthcare professionals.
  • Computer literacy highly desirable. Must be able to articulate and write English.
