We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Supervisor to lead our environmental services team for the 2nd shift (2:30pm to 11:00pm). This role is responsible for ensuring our Club facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency while fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment by providing guidance, support, and help.

  • Supervise and support the daily responsibilities of the Environmental Services, Floor & Laundry teams.
  • Oversee staff to ensure work assignments are accomplished promptly and efficiently, maintaining the highest quality work.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members, escalating personnel concerns appropriately.
  • Perform routine and specialized cleaning duties as needed, including floor care (marble, VCT, carpeting), millwork, furniture, glass, mirrors, brass, tile, and carpet maintenance.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality, safety, and timely completion of work assignments.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and distribute cleaning supplies and equipment to associates.
  • Help coordinate and adjust staff schedules based on operational needs.
  • Train new and current staff on cleaning protocols, safety procedures, and department standards.
  • Assist with and help lead in-service training programs.
  • Identify and report property damage, safety hazards, and equipment malfunctions.
  • Perform the same job functions as the associates they supervise.
  • Operate Club vehicles safely for the transport of goods, equipment, or personnel, as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to supervise and direct personnel, supported by three (3) years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to understand and communicate simple oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of quality control.
  • Ability to deal with personnel situations and problems.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Company drivers who are Florida residents must obtain a valid Florida license within 30 days of establishing residency to drive on Florida roads.
