Position Summary
Reporting to the Workers' Compensation and Occupational Disability Manager, the Workers' Compensation Analyst supports the University's workers' compensation and occupational disability programs through case coordination and proactive injury-prevention efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating workers' compensation claims, documentation, reporting, and file management.
  • Partnering with medical providers, departments, and administrators for effective case handling.
  • Supporting injury-prevention initiatives and helping develop targeted training.
  • Conducting data analysis to identify high-risk areas and recommend safety improvements.
  • Assisting with policy updates, claims data reporting, and program development.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in workers' compensation claims management (TPA, insurer, or large employer).
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills; ability to manage confidential information.
  • Knowledge of occupational disability and return-to-work coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and claims systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPDM or IEA coursework.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Experience delivering training.
