Production Lot Clerk 2nd Shift

:

The Lot Clerk is an active member of the Operations Team. They will work in direct collaboration with the Production Administrator to ensure that the highest standards of safety and efficient productivity are achieved and will be responsible for the management of the operations data and records. The Lot Clerk will help increase the level of productivity by ensuring accurate hourly production records are maintained and assisting with all operational clerical activities.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Ensure compliance with company policies and enforce safety regulations.
• Verify that all raw and packaging materials brought to the production room are assigned for usage in that room. If not, have it removed immediately to avoid improper usage.
• Inspect material containers for any damage, if damaged communicate to respective Supervisor/Manager for approval to use.
• Acceptable materials received need to be scanned at the time of usage, and all unused materials need to be de-issued.
• Review production reports hourly to ensure they are accurate. All discrepancies need to be escalated to Lead/Supervisor/Manager for review and immediate correction. (DEACOM)
• Ensure all paperwork is completed and filed out.
• Ensures product locations are accurate, if not communicate to appropriate departments.
• Validates proper usage of raw materials throughout the shift, any discrepancies are communicated immediately to Lead/Supervisor/Manager.
• Works in collaboration with the Lead/Supervisor, warehouse team and scheduling.
• All other tasks appointed by management.

Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook), IPad.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Need to have strong math skills to balance paperwork at the end of each day.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Reports to work at assigned time. Ending time will vary based upon production requirements for the day. Flexibility in work hours and days is crucial. The temperature ranges from 30 to 110 degrees in the processing rooms. There is exposure to equipment and machinery that are considered to be hazardous. Potential electrical, chemical, and heat hazards are also present. The level of noise is high and constant. Floors are damp and slick.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:

Hard hats, ear plugs or muffs, frocks, non-porous steel toe boots, hair nets, and beard nets must be worn at all times within the plant. Frocks are to remain in production areas unless they are to be replaced when soiled. Latex gloves must be worn when handling products or contacting sanitary surfaces.
