Help Wanted: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Spring Hill Water, 136 Neck Rd, Haverhill, MA 01835

Schedule: Full-time, Hours: M-F 6:00 to 3:30 (Hours may need adjustments to accommodate non-production times, repairs, and installs)

Industry: Food Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food industry maintenance, with hands-on skills in general plumbing, electrical systems, and preventive maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure smooth operation of equipment and facilities.
  • Perform and oversee preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure food safety compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical (versed in VFDs), mechanical, and plumbing issues as needed.
  • Schedule and prioritize repairs during non-production hours when required to avoid production interruptions.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards.
  • Work closely with production and management teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or processing facility preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, VFDs, and mechanical systems.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute preventive maintenance programs.
  • Flexibility to work off-hours or weekends when repairs or equipment replacements cannot be completed during production.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
