Title: Production Superintendent, Commercial Roofing

Pay: 85-100k base depending on experience + bonuses

The Superintendent will oversee production projects within our commercial roofing division, ensuring that all jobs are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This role requires strong oversight of roofing projects to ensure adherence to manufacturer and third-party specifications, fostering clear communication both internally and with external stakeholders. The Superintendent will also be responsible for promoting a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and professionalism.

Job Summary:

The Commercial Roofing Production Superintendent will provide onsite management and direction to a commercial roofing crew, communicate with customers and management team regarding the project statues and updates on the project, daily/weekly reports submission, verify equipment and materials are received or status, provided technical expertise and/or training on install methods to ensure quality projects, safety oversite and toolbox talks.

Responsibilities and Functions:

• Provide leadership to foremen and field staff to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality roof system installations, fostering teamwork, discipline, and professionalism.
• Manage all aspects of production, including scheduling, resource allocation, material management, and overseeing subcontractors, to meet project and company goals.
• Ensure safety compliance through audits, safety talks, and equipment inspections, while addressing safety issues and maintaining proper documentation.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards through inspections, testing, training, and addressing training needs; ensure work meets specifications and client expectations.
• Communicate regularly with customers to review progress, resolve issues, and verify satisfaction, including scheduling site visits and delivering warranties.
• Oversee project documentation, reports, change orders, and safety records; ensure timely submission and proper recordkeeping.
• Assist with project planning, including reviewing plans, creating safety and work plans, coordinating permits, and managing subcontractor and supplier relationships.
• Support project administration tasks such as reviewing contracts, managing project tracking tools like Salesforce, organizing documents, and performing site take-offs.
• Participate in meetings, final inspections, and continuous professional development, while fostering teamwork and offering expertise to colleagues.
• Travel as needed to support project execution and site oversight.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Min 5-10 years field experience with commercial roof installation (Production)
• Experience with roof installation of large re-roof and new construction jobs.
• Experience managing roofing crews and roofing subcontractors.
• Experience of a wide range of commercial roofing systems and roofing manufacturers.
• Read and understand specifications and blueprints.
• Basic computer skills - Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Willing to be trained and use company software.
• Must be able to travel frequently.
• Requires a valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Fluent in English. Spanish/ English Fluency is preferred.
