Job Location: Altamonte Springs

The role you will contribute:

The Intermediate Systems Engineer, under minimal levels of supervision, designs, installs, configures, implements and supports all aspects of the software environment of moderate complexity and/or manages all aspects of processes resolving issues of moderate complexity. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

  • Provides support and guidance to associate level resources by educating on subject matter expertise and assisting with complex issues.

  • Researches and evaluates emerging enterprise application delivery services technologies to support solution recommendations and team planning efforts.

  • Communicates effectively with team members and leadership regarding ticket and project status.

  • Maintains accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance logs, and inventory updates as directed.

  • Maintains an active, working mobile phone at all times in order to support team members and the organization as needed. Position requires that employee must have the ability to make and receive business-related phone calls and text messages 24 hours a day and seven days per week during on-call assignment. However, even when not on-call, employee should be reasonably available for technical escalations as needed.

  • Maintains an effective and accurate information resource library to include software, system documentation, disaster recovery procedures, and related standards.

  • Participates in training sessions to develop knowledge of collaboration based platforms.

  • Ensures system security by implementing security measures and protocols.

  • Analyzes issues and communicates findings and suggestions clearly to peers and leadership.

  • Develops relationships with senior level resources and participates in large-scale IT projects.

  • Maintains awareness of management responsibilities and project status, including potential delays or concerns.

  • Participates in the execution of the IT Roadmap.

  • Provides support and guidance to leadership and senior level resources by contributing subject matter expertise.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Experience in Radiation Oncology preferred. 

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

  • Associate degree Required

  • 3+ Work Experience Required

  • Scripting skills

  • Analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • If Imaging: Knowledge of Imaging software (PACS) and hardware systems and overall workflow of Imaging Departments

  • If Server: Knowledge of principles of proactive server management

  • Efficient in Microsoft operating systems including Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server

  • Certification relevant to applicable software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree Preferred

  • Systems Engineer PACS VNA
