Interventional Radiologist (Independent Contractor)

About the Opportunity
STL IO-IR is a modern, office-based outpatient interventional radiology practice dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care using the latest minimally invasive technologies. We offer hospital-level quality in a comfortable, efficient, and supportive environment.
We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiologist to join our growing team and help expand our advanced treatment offerings for patients with cancer and vascular conditions. This role is ideal for a motivated physician who values independence, collaboration, and innovation in an evolving outpatient model.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform image-guided interventional procedures including embolization, ablation, angiography, venous and arterial interventions, and biopsies
- Provide pre- and post-procedure consultations and ongoing patient management
- Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain high clinical, compliance, and documentation standards consistent with CMS and facility protocols
- Participate in the development of new service lines and outreach initiatives
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification in Interventional Radiology
- Active Missouri medical license
- Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology required
- Strong interest or experience in Interventional Oncology preferred
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills
