Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans for outside sales and territory management to maximize market penetration.
- Identify potential clients through lead generation activities such as cold calling, networking, and targeted marketing campaigns.
- Conduct engaging product demos and presentations to showcase features and benefits tailored to client needs.
- Manage existing accounts with proactive account management techniques, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
- Drive business development initiatives by exploring new markets and B2B sales opportunities to expand our customer base.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while meeting company goals.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that support inside sales efforts and enhance brand visibility.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues effectively, and upselling relevant products or services.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine sales approaches and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Lead territory management efforts by planning visits, scheduling meetings, and maintaining organized records of all client interactions.
- Conduct product demos both remotely (inside sales) and on-site (territory sales), demonstrating technical features with clarity.
- Support the management team in training new sales staff and sharing best practices for success.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, custom cabinet sales, or technology sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong management skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Skilled in negotiation, closing deals, and upselling products or services effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term relationships.
- Solid analysis skills to interpret market data, customer needs, and competitive insights for strategic planning.
- Ability to deliver compelling product demos that highlight technical features clearly and persuasively.
- Experience in retail or direct sales environments is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for inside sales is essential.
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to present confidently across various channels.
